What a crazy year this has been!  This time last year, we praying for a miracle to have Emmanuel home as soon as possible.  This year, we reflect on the blessings of our new family.  On December 3rd, we celebrated his third birthday and on the 18th we celebrated his five month anniversary of being home. 





The last five months have been exciting, fun and challenging in a variety of different ways.  However, God has been perfect in his timing to bless, renew and refresh us.  Emmanuel is doing so well!  His amazing heart and desire to be a good boy is truly teaching us.   I am inspired by his ability to memorize scripture and his desire to hear God's word on my phone.  I truly pray, we are the parents God has called to be and we disciple him in ways of our Lord.

Jessica - has completed her first semester of her senior year with 4.0.  We are proud of her effort to finish strong.  Amazed, at how fast this has gone for her.

Shannon - continues to excel and persevere in her junior year in HS.   Love her passion to excel and amazed how it pushes and inspires me.  I just wish I told her more often.   I am so thankful for Cade, and the way he treats Shannon.



We are so grateful to everyone who has followed us along this incredible journey to submit to God's call.  The phone calls, messages, hugs, smiles and gifts has deepened our faith in a God who answers every prayer. 

This new video was taken right after we first met Emmanuel.  This was the first time we heard him speak.  We hadn't planned on showing him his photobook that morning, but excitement took over.

Expecting

We are expecting! The journey continues...I am fasciated how God works through his people. I am so far of where I want to be spiritually, but yet he continues to use us. Over the past year, the Lord has challenged and even confronted me with his word. The question I have been wrestling with is... do I believe it...do I believe all of it? In short, I do! I believe every single word, period, adjective, noun...to be the inspired word of God. I often hear things like man wrote it or what about dinosaurs, or this or that....Have you read it? I am convinced you will never be person God wants you to be until you believe in the power of his word. Of course man wrote it... God has always also used men as his vessel. How would you expect him to write it? It truly humbles me that he would inspire men to speak through him then as he is now. Happy Birthday Emmanuel - A father's letter

Emmanuel's Birthday is December 3rd.  Happy Birthday E’man. What an amazing year! The last seven months have been an incredible roller- coaster ride and we are so thankful God has brought you into our lives. You have changed us forever! In fact, God is already using you to impact the nations. How cool is that? We wish we could all be together, but God has a unique plan that only he fully understands.
